Death & Dying Expo

Death & Dying Expo

Death & Dying Expo is a free annual event that aims to connect Community with Death Care providers and services in the Northern Rivers.

This expo is an opportunity for the community to learn and discover what services and supports are available to them and what is possible or new in this space.

The theme of this year’s Death & Dying Expo, "It Takes a Village”, focuses on holistic perspectives, community and connection.  A powerful reminder that death, like birth, is not a medical event alone but a social, relational and communal one.

a community gathering

This year the event was a great success. 25 exhibitors created a beautiful space showcasing the care and creativity that reflects the heart of the Northern Rivers.

The expo was very well attended, with people of all ages and at different stages of  life coming together. It was inspiring to see so many young people taking an interest in death care and to meet so many members of the community who brought their ideas, open hearts and curiosity.
